Cooking :

Ingredients: Fresh dates (Medjoul or dried dates that you have soaked overnight in water to rehydrate), cashew nut pieces, grated coconut, flax seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds... (you can buy a ready-made mix in an organic store); 100% sugar-free cocoa powder

Nutritional properties and health benefits:

  • Nutritional Information : Excellent source of omega-3, magnesium, and fiber.
  • Benefits : Stimulates postpartum recovery and milk production. Dates are a natural source of sugar and energy, while cashews and flaxseeds provide healthy fats for baby’s brain health.
  • Tips  : 2 large dates = 14 bite-sized piecesTutorial :
      1. Blend 200g of pitted dates and 100g of cashew nuts in a food processor until a paste forms.
      2. Add a pinch of salt and two tablespoons of shredded coconut, then blend again. For those who like it sweet and salty, add a tablespoon of peanut butter (optional).
      3. Form the mixture into bite-sized balls.
      4. Roll the balls in grated coconut or cocoa powder.
      5. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Keeps well in a glass jar for several days!
